The Booths family business was in operation since the 1850s and was taken over by the Royal Doulton factory in 1981. The pattern on the Booths Real Old Willow series changed only slightly over all of those years from the initial Silicon China designation to a 9072 pattern number from 1906 through to the end of WWI, and then on to the pattern number 8025, with the slight change of a lack of gold trim during WWII. The pattern on Booths chinaware is extremely detailed and the gold is beautifully worked in. Up for your consideration is a rare set of Booths Real Old Willow demitasse cups, saucers, coffee pot, creamer and sugar bowl, all 8025 pattern. The coffee pot stands 8 ½ inches in height to the top of the lid, and measures almost 9 inches across from the outside of the handle to the outside of the spout.
It has a 32 ounce capacity. The sugar bowl stands 4 ½ inches in height to the top of the lid, and measures 5 ½ inches from outside of handle to outside of handle. The creamer is 4 inches high and 4 ¾ inches from outside of handle to the edge of the spout. The demitasse cups measure 3 ½ inches to the outside of the handles, and are 2 ½ inches in height. The accompanying saucers are 5 ¼ inches in diameter. If you are a fan of this pattern, you know how difficult it is to find such a set in mint condition. The entire set is pristine and shows no use or wear whatsoever.
No cracks, no chips, no scratches, no yellowing. The colours are bright and the gold is as vivid and strong as it was when it left the factory. We sell across Canada and the U. Thank you for your interest.
